Welcome to Murray Grove Retreat and Renewal Center…a purposefully-simple retreat facility for congregational retreats, youth groups, family/school reunions, women's and men's groups, weddings, conferences, yoga and meditation groups, non-profit, personal, and spiritual retreats.

Whether you are planning a congregational retreat, family reunion, wedding, personal or non-profit retreat, conference, business workshop, social gathering or youth group event, our purposefully simple facility in the New Jersey Pine Barrens near the Jersey shore welcomes you. The peaceful surroundings of Murray Grove make it the perfect place to detach from the hustle and bustle of nearby New York City, Philadelphia, and Atlantic City and beyond, and enjoy the natural environment of the Pine Barrens and nearby Barnegat Bay. The property sits adjacent to a 200-acre section of the Edwin B. Forsythe Wildlife Preserve.

As the birthplace of Universalism in America, Murray Grove has special importance for Unitarian Universalists. However, we reach out to individuals and groups of all faiths (or no faith) and welcome their use of our facilities for business, spiritual, ritual, or social purposes. Appreciation and support of diversity is central to our mission. We are a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

Murray Grove Retreat and Renewal Center is available for daily, overnight, multi-day and weekly bookings. Come to renew your relationship with yourself, your family, your congregation, colleagues and friends. Everyone is welcome! Click here to learn more about our facility.

In addition to being available for bookings, we offer regular programs like our Monthly Coffee House and bi-weekly Murray Grove Zen Group. We host annual events such as the Murray Grove Drum and Dance Festival, Heritage Week and more. For more information about our programs, please click here.

Murray Grove offers a donation of a Gift Certificate for complimentary two-night lodging for up to 4 people for congregations and non-profit organizations to use for their own fundraising. Based on space availability.
