UU Leadership Team Institute registrations
are closed for this year!
What is this all about?
Unitarian Universalist Leadership Team Institute (UULTI) has been designed to highlight the values and stories of our faith and our commitment to justice for all peoples. We will ask all in attendance to explore how their own faith and actions inform and deepen their individual leadership, their work in growing their congregations and communities, their justice-making and outreach efforts and their commitment to families and children and to a multi-cultural world of Beloved Community.
Individuals and teams will experience and be transformed by a 21st-century,
6 day residential program for leaders wishing to strengthen their team and leadership skills in order to make a real impact in their UU congregations and communities.
The Institute will be a holistic and experiential learning environment. Participants will explore Unitarian Universalism on spiritual, intellectual, personal and practical levels. You will acquire skills to build and strengthen your congregation and community, as well as bring you more success in life.
Since leadership challenges and opportunities rarely present themselves in neat little packages, the staff has created an integrated experience that will allow you to:
- focus on a particular area of concentration (TRACKS)
- gain knowledge about specific leadership elements and perspectives (LENSES) that will be woven throughout the TRACKS and/or program
- learn deeply from one another by meeting in Covenant Groups, Home Teams and Roles Teams, as well as at meals, worship, vespers and social time
- work with a Home Team coach
- exchange ideas and insight with others in the same or similar roles as the one you currently occupy

Who Should Attend?
Any combination of lay leaders, board chairs/presidents, clergy, directors and ministers of religious education, committee chairs, growth teams, leadership development teams, etc. and/or individuals whose congregations have designated them for leadership, now or in the future, who wish to strengthen their team and leadership skills.
Why Teams? It takes a team of leaders for change to happen. (Note: If you are the only leader attending from your congregation or community, we will create a Team for you to meet and work with throughout the week).
All participants should be recognized as leaders by their UU congregations and communities and be attending with their knowledge and encouragement.
ALL sizes of congregations, small, medium and large, and other UU communities and organizations will benefit from this program.
