Are your green thumbs
looking for a place
to turn brown?

Can you help us collect,
chop and stack firewood
for those long winters?

Are you a techie looking
for a place that needs you
desperately?

Do you like to help with
mailings and office projects?

What about painting,
how are you with a roller?

Dear Friends,

Warm greetings to you!

It is hard, in this hurting world, to feel joyful sometimes. That makes it all the more important to cherish places like Murray Grove, with its solid and inspiring roots and its main objective of contributing in a positive way to creating a more loving world.

This year we will:

• begin offering our first off-site program, in the summer of 2007, through serving as the coordinator of a collaborative leadership team intensive with the Joseph Priestley, Metro New York, Ohio-Meadville and St. Lawrence Districts of the UUA. This will be a 21st-century, six-day, five-track residential program with an approach toward leadership development that delves into the intersection of faith and action. The result will enrich and empower teams of UU leaders to actualize the impact they intend to make on their congregations and the world.
• continue to be an affordable, welcoming and nurturing sanctuary for UUs and those of similar values
• encourage guests to deepen their spirituality while at MG through the use of our new labyrinth and the new Murray Grove Meditation Group, led by Kurt Spellmeyer
• reach out to groups on the margins of society to make sure they know we are here to serve them

We value your voice and support! We have bold plans, and need and want you there to help guide the way. Please consider becoming a member of Murray Grove and/or making a contribution to support our work of increasing spirituality in service to the world. We are grateful!

With appreciation and love,

Ellen J. Chulak
Executive Director
